The first independent contact with music for me were two tapes with music by the Beatles. As a child i also was listening to Tom Waits, Nirvana, Bomb the Bass, Zarah Leander and Metallica as my mother was or still is into these bands. Because of the fact that I have a very young and interested mother I had the pleasure to attend many concerts at a very young age. Kraftwerk, for example, left me very curious. After a few teenage years full of riot and punk like "Ton, Steine, Scherben" etc, Portishead and Drum..n..Bass crossed my way. Electronic music with all its styles and variations is attracting me very much. The whole electronic field has been growing so fast that you can hardly have an overview. I constantly explore new stuff. I also enjoy funk, soul and hip hop . Since I have started my studies in jazzvocals in Vienna I grew into the whole jazz thing and started loving it. The latest thing I fell in love with was dubstep,when I saw Skream the first time in 2007. I feel that it would be a huge mistake to miss out on a whole genre, because there is passion and beauty in all kind of styles. To me, however, music is more than just something to listen to.
